CDT recognizes the importance of partnering with health care professionals to save lives through donation. CDT currently serves 46 hospitals in 30 counties of New York and Vermont, including one hospital in Massachusetts. CDT is dedicated to educating health care professionals on issues relating to organ and tissue donation. Every hospital in CDT’s region is assigned a trained organ procurement coordinator that acts as a liaison between the hospital and CDT and is responsible for ensuring hospital staff is educated on the donation process.
